GPC undertake a detailed assessment of the application material, responses to information requests, and issues raised by submitters to provide a recommendation as to whether a development application should be approved (with details of conditions to be included) or refused. This review role has included assisting the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning with the assessment of applications for Ministerial call-ins.

GPC planners prepare reports for Planning and Environment Court and Land Court which provides excellent experience for providing independent and high quality planning reports.
