Community uses

GPC works with a range of clients, including many not-for-profit organisations, to achieve development approvals for community uses, including indoor and outdoor sporting club facilities, support services and supported accommodation.

We believe that community uses are an important part of urban and rural communities that enable us to support one another, interact and build skills together.

GPC seeks to provide a personalised service to meet the individual needs of every client and ensure that quality outcomes are achieved.

Caboolture Hub

Project
The Caboolture Hub project created a major redevelopment of the Caboolture town square precinct with the construction of the Caboolture Library and community hub building. This major community building provides a state of the art library and gallery space that has transformed the centre of Caboolture.  GPC managed the fast tracked approval process to achieve key Government funding.

Sandgate Swimming Pool

Project
GPC was appointed to prepare and manage the development approval process for the redevelopment of the Sandgate Aquatic Centre.

The development comprised a new indoor 25 metre swimming pool, kiosk, indoor gymnasium and various internal refurbishments. The site is listed as a Local heritage place, therefore the approval process required careful consideration of heritage matters.

GPC was successful in negotiating and obtaining the relevant approvals.
